Project Management Training Case Study:
Easynet develops Core Competency in Project Management
PMProfessional Learning, has worked with the pan-European Internet Service Provider, Easynet, to develop the value of project management as a core competency within their business.
Knowledge Assessment
Having first established the degree of project management skills held by key staff using PMProfessional Learning’s knowledge assessment tool, KNASTO
®, the companies were able to work together to tailor the training needed for each member of staff.
Programme of Accreditation
Seeing further development of project management expertise as an important competency for customer facing and infrastructure service implementation as well as for effective bid management processes, the company undertook training pilots that are now being rolled out into a programme of accreditation for a number of staff.
“We needed to develop further internal structures for project management, as we are a growing company and are always re-evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes internally,” said Julie Partridge, HR Director for easynet.
“PMProfessional Learning was chosen for the experienced specialists knowledge in professional project management that they could offer us, ensuring we gained not only the right experience, but also a formal accreditation system,” she continued.
