Project Management Training Case Study:
Entec brings Project Management to the Boardroom following training by PMProfessional Learning
PMProfessional Learning enabled environmental and engineering consultancy Entec to enhance its customer service, reduce risk and increase the efficiency of its project management by taking its Project Managers through a bespoke project management training programme.
“PMProfessional Learning immediately impressed us with their professionalism and speed of the creation of a pilot course, and the competence with which it was delivered,” said Doug Morton, Commercial Director, Entec.
Defined Development Ladder
The training improves Entec’s approach to assignments by bringing everybody within the organisation up to a higher level of project management knowledge, providing a shared understanding of the company’s approach to project management and demonstrating to the staff a clearly defined development ladder to further enhance competence.
“Time is a valuable commodity in our type of business, so maximising the effectiveness of our project teams through more efficient project management creates additional value,” Morton continued.
“Feedback from each training session is also captured, reviewed and discussed by our management team, so issues are aired at the highest levels in the business on a continuous basis.” he continued.
Excellent Feedback
Julia Johnson, Managing Director of PMProfessional Learning, said:
“We are very pleased to be working with Entec and it is great to see that such big and influential organisations take project management issues to the boardroom level, as this demonstrates how it is increasingly being recognised as an important discipline.”Following the excellent feedback on the training delivered so far, Entec is now working with PMProfessional Learning to continue with ongoing certification requirements.
