APMP Exam Preparation Training Course
The APM’s APMP is a knowledge based foundation level qualification, enabling participation in all kinds of projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects. Based on the APM Body of Knowledge (APM BoK), the APMP course is an intensive introduction to project management. During the course there will be opportunities to review knowledge gaps and practice exam techniques through tackling typical exam questions under tutor guidance, prior to sitting the APMP exam on day 2 of the course.
It is assumed that delegates attending this course have received prior instruction either as part of a relevant course or as part of a self-study programme.

Who Should Attend/Pre-requisites
The event is designed for anyone who wishes to sit the APMP exam and has received prior instruction or completed a self study programme of blended learning either in the classroom or distance learning – online, CD or paper. Candidates who have received no prior instruction should attend the 5 day APMP course or a self-study programme.
2 Years+ Project Management experience and/or APM Introductory Certificate is recommended along with a working knowledge of the APM Body of Knowledge.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
• Have built on the previously acquired project management knowledge
• Have discussed topics in the syllabus
• Review the requirements of the examination and practiced examination style questions
• Be prepared sufficiently to sit the APMP exam
Examination Structure
The 3-hour written exam consists of questions designed to demonstrate the candidate’s knowledge of the varying aspects of project management as well as their understanding of key project management techniques. Delegates are required to answer 10 essay-style questions from a possible 16. Papers are marked by the APM and results are usually available 6-12 weeks after the exam.
