APM Risk Certificate Training Course - Level 2
Professional Risk Management is a key competence for project-based organisations. The Risk Certificate training course gives project and risk managers the opportunity to gain recognition as an experienced risk practitioners. This 2 day course prepares candidates for the APM’s Level 2 Certificate in Risk Management and presents the opportunity to sit the exam.

Who Should Attend/Pre-requisites
Project and programme managers who are involved in project risk management and who have a good understanding of project management and a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts of project risk management. Ideally delegates should have experience of the application of risk management in projects and /or have achieved the APM Risk Certificate Level 1 qualification.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
• Understand the application of the essential principles of project risk management
• Be able to apply the principles in a case study scenario
• Be prepared sufficiently to sit the APM Risk Certificate Level 2 exam
Examination Structure
A 3 ¼ hour written paper, including 15 minutes allocated for candidate to read a detailed case study.
Section A (100 marks) is a compulsory section with 100 marks.
Section B (100 marks) contains 4 questions, of which 2 are related to the case study. Candidates will be expected to answer any 2 of the 4 questions.
