Who Should Attend/Pre-requisites

Project Management, and also the structure adopted by the PMI and who also plans to sit the CAPM exam in the near future. Please note that the PMI defines experiential and/or academic prerequisites for its’ CAPM exam.  Delegates should visit the certification section of the PMI website (www.pmi.org) to check on these prerequisites and consider on-line application for the exam before the course begins.


NB: This course satisfies 14 of the pre-requisites 23 hours of PM training prior to the CAPM exam.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
•    Have established how the 5 process groups and professional responsibility requirements form the integrative framework adopted by the Project Management Institute (PMI®)
•    Have established how each of the 42 individual process within the “Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge”    (PMBoK®) relates to each other
•    Have explored relevant topics that lie outside of the PMBoK
•    Have understood how to interpret all the major PMI definitions and acronyms
•    Have practiced and understood the exam’s format and  questions
•    Have acquired the knowledge and understanding necessary in order to prepare a personal study plan for the CAPM Exam

Examination Structure

Subject to satisfactory validation of the stated pre-requisites, delegates will arrange directly with the PMI to sit the closed-book 3 hours, 150 multiple choice CAPM examination at an accredited test centre on a convenient future date.
