Project Contract Management Training Courses
This project management course has been developed to improve project delivery performance and efficiency by increasing the knowledge and skills of project/related staff in the areas of contract law and contract management.
Using a combination of case study application and practice exam questions (from law degree courses), the course will address the techniques and soft-skills necessary to effectively deliver projects in a contractual environment. Copies of all case law used are included.

The course is designed for anyone in a project management role requiring working knowledge of Contract Law and Contract Management who wish to gain a broad understanding of contract law.
2 Years+ Project Management or involvement with projects is recommended.

Each contract has a specific purpose. This session covers definitions, relationships and the importance of contracts. It considers what is required for a contract to be valid and enforceable, including offer and acceptance, consideration and intention
This session looks at specific legal aspects including doctrine of privity, vitiating factors and quantum meruit

Contract Performance and Non-performance
Delegates will learn about contract performance including terms and conditions. They will also consider discharge, breach of contract and damages
This session looks at the contract as a procurement tool considering procurement strategy and options, forms of contract, allocating risk, supply chain management, partnering arrangements and contracts, design and intellectual property
Delegates will learn about tender documents, preparing for tender, tender return, evaluation and award
This session looks at the operation of the contract and considers contract documents, administrative requirements, record keeping, major provisions, carrying out the work, monitoring and control, breach and dispute resolution
