Summary
The UK Office of Government Commerce’s (OGC) MSP method is being accepted as the leading best practice programme management approach. MSP is unique in its status as a generic best practice framework; generic yet flexible in application.
The MSP qualifications are now established as the premier programme management qualifications in many parts of the world. The Foundation qualification is aimed at those who intend to work within a programme environment, those who need to know the terminology used and some of the theory behind the practice. The Practitioner qualification is for someone moving into programme management, and can be used as a stepping stone to move from basic concepts to a higher level of understanding.
This course will cover each part of the MSP Transformational Flow, Governance Themes and documents described in the MSP Guide. You will work through various case studies during the course. The course will also cover all the theory together with how to apply the theory, providing you with a full and complete understanding of the MSP programme management framework that can be applied to business scenarios in preparation for work on your own programme. This course also allows delegates the opportunity to consolidate their learning and discuss any areas they find difficult to understand. Before sitting the Practitioner paper delegates will concentrate on case study and example practitioner questions/answers and have the opportunity to discuss typical questions.
