Who Should Attend/Pre-requisites

This event is suitable for any individual who desires to perform as an informed member of the P3O.  There are no pre-requisites for attendance however it is recommended that delegates have a basic understanding of portfolio, programme and project management principles.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this classroom course delegates will be able to:
•    Describe the high level P3O model and know the differences between Portfolio, Programme and Project Management
•    Understand the Know the arguments for establishing a P3O model and measuring its success
•    Describe the purpose and major content of all roles
•    State the key functions and services of a P3O
•    Describe the tools and techniques used by a P3O
•    Undertake the Foundation exam

Examination Structure

This course covers the full syllabus as defined by the qualification’s awarding body, the APM Group.  It is supported by the Foundation exam – Multiple choice, closed book, 40 minutes, 50 questions.
