People In Projects
Many project managers consider the development of technical skills more important than the softer side of project management. This course focuses on the people side of projects and how successful teams are developed. A major element of the course looks at 3 key areas; communication, stakeholder management and leadership. The need for the management of conflict is explored and the various conflict resolution options reviewed.
Delegates will be given the opportunity to complete:
• A Belbin Team Role Profile, identifying natural preferred and least preferred team roles
• The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, analysing the way individuals deal with various situations of conflict
