PMP® (Project Management Professional) Training Course - Residential
Based on the PMI Body of Knowledge, this 5 day certification course takes participants through the phases of a project, using the Process Groups and integrative framework adapted by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). It is suitable for anyone who requires a detailed working knowledge of the PMI’s approach to project management, particularly those working towards the Project Management Professional (PMP®). The PMP designation following your name signifies to clients, employers etc that you have demonstrated a solid foundation of knowledge and experience from which you can competently practice project management.
Approximately 3 hours of pre course preparation is recommended.

Who Should Attend/Pre-requisites
Although
there are no mandatory pre-requisites for course delegates, the PMP
certification mandates the following prior to sitting the exam and this
influences the profile of course attendees:
• Bachelors Degree, 4500hrs+ project management experience, 35 hours
of formal project management training (satisfied by this course) or
• High-school Diploma, 7500hrs+ project management experience, 35
hours of formal project management training (satisfied by this course)

Examination Structure
Subject to satisfactory PMI validation of the stated pre-requisites, delegates will arrange directly with the PMI to sit the closed-book 4 hours, 200 multiple choice PMP examination at an accredited test centre on a convenient future date.
